Today, Dignitas Technologies was awarded an OTA (Other Transaction Authority) through Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Orlando in support of PEO STRI. Dignitas was one of several awardees as part of ACC-Orlando’s and PEO-STRI’s first competition using this type of contract mechanism. OTAs are of growing interest in defense acquisition, so Dignitas is pleased to be a trailblazer with ACC-Orlando and STRI through this award.

Through the High-Fidelity Runtime Database Engine (HFRDE) program, Dignitas Technologies and Applied Research Associates (ARA), developed a reusable terrain database format and services to support extremely high resolution natural environments, with minimal processor and memory footprint requirements.

Megacities and Simulation Research

U.S. Army PEO-STRI has awarded Dignitas Technologies a Phase I SBIR to study the representation of Megacities in Modeling and Simulation applications. Dignitas' effort, named Dense Urban Environment Technology (DUET), will address challenges that limit the ability of U.S. forces to conduct synthetic training in complex urban environments.
