Dignitas Technologies has been awarded a subcontract to generate a geospecific terrain database in support of FAAC Incorporated. FAAC is conducting upgrades to the York Region Snowplow Simulator that supports the York Region snowplow training program. Dignitas’ efforts will focus on source data collection, modeling, database generation, and creation of specialized formats to meet training needs.

Dignitas has been a leader in simulation geospatial processing and services since from inception. “This municipal work is a natural continuation of Dignitas’ long history of supporting large U.S. military geospatial database efforts, such as the U.S. Army’s Synthetic Environment Core and Joint Strike Fighter (F35) database production,” stated Jon Watkins, Dignitas COO, “and we look forward to supporting an expanded customer base in this domain.”
