SBIR to study Terrain Correlation

Posted on May 2, 2010

Dignitas Technologies has been awarded a Phase I SBIR entitled “Terrain Database Correlation and Automated Testing Technologies”. This RDECOM-STTC contract involves research into test tools that can support evaluation of simulation terrain databases. Project principle investigator, Mr. Jon Watkins said “Today, simulation databases are usually tested manually via labor intensive fly-through. The growing trend toward commonality across Army simulation systems provides a unique opportunity to develop database correlation test tools that will live on beyond the scope of a single stovepipe program.”
