Dignitas was recently awarded the real-time mapping from an over-water imagery contract by the U.S. Navy. Dignitas will serve as the prime contractor with ARA supporting as the subcontractor. This project's objective is to create a comprehensive ortho-mosaic map solution that has the ability to run on a small hardware footprint system with output geo-referenced and free of negative visual artifacts.

The On-demand Conflation Enhancement AligNment of Imagery (OCEAN-I) project aims to design and develop a system that enables real-time broad area mapping using ocean surface imagery that is immediately updated as new data is ingested, resulting in a large field, geo-referenced image that can be projected onto charts, maps, and/or a common operational picture, and has the potential to be utilized in GPS-denied environments. This system will consume imagery from electro-optical and infrared sensor (EO/IR) systems onboard ocean vessels, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and orbital satellites. OCEAN-I will provide for near real-time situational awareness from multiple sources and resolutions.
