Dignitas was recently awarded the Etna contract by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) which is a new customer for Dignitas. Dignitas will serve as the prime contractor with GameSim supporting as a subcontractor.  This project's objective is to create scalable automated 3D building models from attributed point cloud data that render in a web browser to simulate an unknown environment.

This research task aims to identify a standards-based system to rapidly produce a simplified representation of point cloud input sensor data and make it available at the point of need while respecting the connectivity constraints of the end user. Etna capabilities provide synergy with Dignitas' other synthetic environment initiatives such as megacities and automated generation of underground structures
