Dignitas Technologies was awarded a Phase II SBIR for the Intelligent Cyber Adversaries Tool Suite (ICATS). ICATS provides intelligent adversaries to support cyber training for LVC training systems. It provides models of opposing force cyber offensive and defensive adversaries in order to provide automated forces for cyber forces under training in LVC systems. It allows cyber trainees to interact with simulated cyber entities in the cyber space in a similar manner as maneuver trainees interact with Computer Generated Forces (CGF) forces in the kinetic space. The cyber adversaries will mount realistic offensive actions on BLUFOR cyber elements based on known threats. It will also engage in active defense of its own cyber elements using typical cybersecurity approaches.
