Orlando, FL – June 17, 2025 – Dignitas Technologies has been awarded a contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) to continue providing lifecycle support for Advanced Computer-based Training Systems (ACTS II).

 

Under this indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, Dignitas will support the Multipurpose Reconfigurable Training System 3D® (MRTS 3D®) program, the Virtual Interactive Shipboard Instructional Tour 3D™ (VISIT 3D™) program, and other future training solutions requiring the development or update of curriculum. MRTS 3D primarily uses commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and the Windows operating system to simulate tactical systems found on submarines, ships, aircraft, and aviation support equipment of the U.S. Navy, along with weapons platforms from other services for training purposes. VISIT 3D is a familiarization training application providing assisted and unassisted exploration of a simulated environment. Trainees interact in a 3D rendered environment with items of interest to access descriptive or instructional media, including interactive courseware, workstation simulations, reference documents, quizzes, and common media files.

 

The ACTS-II ID/IQ contract will include design, software development, curriculum development, systems integration, test and evaluation, delivery, modification, documentation, and life cycle support of training systems for NAWCTSD and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.

 

Dignitas and our teammates will execute delivery orders (DOs) to upgrade existing training solutions as well as develop and field new training solutions that simulate various military tactical systems. Developed training solutions may scale to systems of systems and large-scale simulations. As needed, Dignitas will procure and integrate hardware with MRTS 3D software, life cycle support products, and conduct data collection and analysis activities to directly support product development. Dignitas will primarily provide curriculum development and updates across three task areas. Task area 1 pertains to the analysis, design, development, and test and evaluation of curriculum (self-paced, web-delivered, and/or instructor-led) to include courseware, and supporting materials such as instructor guides, trainee guides, job performance aids, and interactive multimedia instruction (IMI). Task area 2 pertains to the maintenance of the existing curriculum, and task area 3 pertains to the conversion of legacy training into a new format.
