Phase I SBIR to study Terrain Correlation / News & Events

April 15, 2010

Dignitas Technologies has been awarded a Phase I SBIR entitled “Terrain Database Correlation and Automated Testing Technologies”.
This RDECOM-STTC contract involves research into test tools that can support evaluation
of simulation terrain databases. Project principle investigator, Mr. Jon Watkins said “Today,
simulation databases are usually tested manually via labor intensive fly-through. The growing
trend toward commonality across Army simulation systems provides a unique opportunity to
develop database correlation test tools that will live on beyond the scope of a single stovepipe
program.”

Dignitas Technologies, LLC (www.dignitastechnologies.com) was founded in 2004 to provide
high quality engineering services to the modeling, simulation, and training community. Based in
the Orlando, FL area, Dignitas Technologies supports a wide range of military training programs
across live, virtual, and constructive domains with a particular focus on computer generated
forces and terrain reasoning.
