Dignitas Participates in 2011 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon / News & Events

Dignitas is proud to announce that after months of hard work, 3 of our co-workers completed a half-marathon! In the photo below (left to right) are Matt Rolfe, Marlo Verdesca, and Steve Borkman, all of whom completed the 2011 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon on October 1st.
Marlo’s husband, Jay, and Matt’s wife, Shannon, also completed the run.
“In January, a New Year’s Resolution to run a Half Marathon was established. After participating in the Corporate 5K, Operation Give Back 5K at UCF and the Forest Run 10K, we knew our goal was in sight.” said Marlo Verdesca, Director of Programs at Dignitas. “Other than crossing the finish line, the best part was the encouragement we gave each other and support we received from fellow co-workers. It is great to be involved in activities that allow our staff to give back.“ The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), an organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancers.
